p: 412.741.4550 ext. 206

Kevin grew up in the tradition of the Presbyterian Church as the son of a Presbyterian minister. He was raised in Southern California and in Murrysville, PA, just east of Pittsburgh. He graduated from Wake Forest University, double majoring in biology and psychology. After pursuing a master’s degree in psychology at Old Dominion University, Kevin moved to New York City where he worked for a number of years as a private tutor.

While attending the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, Kevin met his wife-to-be, Rebecca, who had moved to the city to train with the Joffrey Ballet. Kevin then responded to the call to ministry and received his M.Div. from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. After graduating, he served as an Associate Pastor at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis before becoming the Pastor of the Presbyterian Church, Sewickley in September of 2011.

Kevin and Rebecca have three beautiful children: James, Jessica and Katelyn. When he finds time between being with his family and ministering to the congregation, Kevin enjoys basketball, good food and wine, Steelers football and reading.

Brian Mack

Direction of Children's Ministries

p: 412.741.4550 ext. 208

Brian is a Pittsburgh native, having spent most of his life living in the west end of Pittsburgh in Crafton Heights. He grew up as a member of Crafton Heights United Presbyterian Church and has been involved in ministry from a very young age. He has worked with children for several years and in many different venues. It began with the Open Door youth outreach center ran through his church, and continued into their summer camp program (Cross-Trainers). Throughout his middle and high school years he attended a number of mission trips and other church related events. Those experiences let him to Westminster College where he graduated in 2012 with a degree in Christian Education. During his time at Westminster he had an internship at Tower Presbyterian Church in Grove City, which included a number of challenges and learning opportunities. Along with his internship, Brian spent most of his summers working as a camp counselor at Crestfield Camp and Conference Center. After graduating from Westminster he gained more experience working with children at “It’s All About Kids” daycare center, which has helped lead him here.
Throughout all that Brian has experienced, he has found that one truth about God has popped up over and over again in his life, and that is God’s amazing power and grace. Brian’s favorite Bible verse is Roman’s 8:38-39, where we are assured that nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Brian is excited to start this new chapter in his live and is looking forward to getting to know the children, families, and members of this church.
