Church

Who is God? Who am I? Does my life matter? And why is there a stain in the shape of a bunny on my shirt?

There's a lot going on inside the teenage brain, from the seriously silly to the just plain serious. Here at The Presbyterian Church, Sewickley, we welcome the silly and the serious alike. So, silly or serious, we hope you'll come just as you are! We'll get to know God and explore God's world and our place in it together.

Middle School | 6th - 8th grade

Club 678

By popular demand! Club 678 is our middle school youth group and we meet Tuesday, from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the White House.

We eat snacks, play ridiculous games, enjoy fellowship with one another and learn more about God and His Word! On the last Tuesday of the month, we have a special activity night or mission night. Check the Youth Calendar for what we're doing and when!

Sunday School | 9:50 - 10:50 AM

On Sunday mornings, the middle school students can be found eating bagels and having fun studying the Bible over in the White House. We hope we'll see you there!

Middle School Mission

The middle school students of TPCS are learning all about what it means to love and serve our neighbors. That's why we sometimes do things like help to serve meals at the Center for Hope or distribute food at Produce to People, or go on our Mission Possible Pre-teen Mission Trip (for more information about Mission Possible, contact the church office at 412.741.4550).

Senior High | 9th - 12th grade

Wednesdays with TPCS- starting September 19

The Bible talks a lot about "The Kingdom of God," but what exactly is the Kingdom of God? Can teenagers actually make a difference in God's kingdom? For six weeks, our high school and middle school youth will explore these questions by participating in six different "hands-on" learning experiences designed to give teenagers a better idea of what God's kingdom is and how they can be a part of it! We will meet in the White House after supper.

Sunday School | 9:50 - 10:50 AM

Sr. High Sunday School is getting a new look this year, so come check us out! We will meet in the White House (downstairs) for fun, fellowship and the opportunity to hear various speakers discuss Real Faith in the Real World.

Senior High Mission

Mission is important to the high school students of TPCS, which is why we regularly help out at the Center for Hope in Ambridge. A large group of us also go on a yearly summer mission trip. If you've never been, you're missing out! Just talk to the students who have gone, and they'll tell you all about it.

Confirmation | 9:50 - 10:50 AM

For students who are in the 9th grade and up, Confirmation is a year-long class designed to allow students to explore the Christian faith and the Reformed tradition in a fun, engaging and developmentally appropriate way. At the end of the class, students are given the opportunity to write their own Statement of Faith and to become full members of TPCS.
