APNC Meeting Highlights
Session has called a Congregational meeting to report on the APNC’s choice of candidate, Rebecca Reeder.
The committee discussed current applicant and next steps.
The committee continues to look at PIFs from applicants and researching potential candidates.

The committee continues to look at Pastor Information Forms (PIF) from applicants and is in the process of contacting potential candidates for additional information.

The committee continues to look at Pastor Information Forms (PIF) from applicants.
The committee began the process of looking at Pastor Information Forms (PIF).
The MIF was approved by our Session and the Pittsburgh Presbytery. It was submitted to PC(USA) and will take about 3 days for it to become available online for potential candidates to view.
The committee decided on the following positions:
- Sylvia Dallas, Chair
- Andrea Hayden, Vice-Chair
- Dane Schlenke, Secretary
- Susie Wardrop, Communications Liaison
The committee is working on the MIF. Once it is approved by the APNC, it will be presented to Session for final approval on February 19, 2019. Afterwards, it will be given to the Pittsburgh Presbytery for any additional approvals and distribution.
The APNC will meet three times a month.
The APNC met with Rev. Brian Wallace, the Associate Pastor of the Pittsburgh Presbytery. Brian educated the committee on the process of hiring an Associate Pastor, what the APNC’s role is, and what to expect in the coming months.
