Join Ellen Hitchens and Erin Leghorn for a three-week series exploring Dr. Jonathan L. Walton’s book, A Lens of Love: Reading the Bible in Its World for Our World. In preparation for Dr. Walton’s November visit to SPC, discover how we can connect biblical stories to the challenges of today’s world. No prior reading is required.

Make the Bible come alive by exploring the Gospel of Luke. Dig into its history, context and meaning to deepen your understanding and enrich your faith.

Led by Brian Wood and Joan Murdoch, the group will use the Bible along with N. T. Wright’s Luke for Everyone (optional and available online). All are welcome—no prior Bible study experience necessary. Our love of learning is contagious!
