SPC CHILDREN’S CHOIRS

Our Children’s Choirs perform periodically during Sunday morning worship services throughout the year. On Sundays and Wednesdays, children spend time learning and practicing the songs they will share with the congregation. We plan on singing in worship two times each semester (Fall, Winter, Spring), along with other special opportunities throughout the year.

Genesis Singers | PreK-Grade 2

• Sunday Rehearsals 10 AM during Sunday School
• Begins Bi-Weekly October 11

Experience the joy of singing at an early age! Our youngest members will learn simple songs that will boost their confidence and allow them to take part in special worship services.

Alleluia Singers | Grade 3-6

• Wednesday Rehearsals 4:45-5:30 PM
• Rehearsals resume Wednesday, September 16

Alleluia Singers offers a fun and welcoming musical experience, where teamwork, learning, and plenty of laughter are always part of the rehearsal. Children spend time preparing songs to share with the congregation throughout the year while growing in confidence and musical skill.

A Special Opportunity: Day on the Lawn Tent Service

We’re excited to lead worship in song during the DOL Tent Service! We will sing Make a Joyful Noise with congregation participation. This is a great way for new singers to see what it’s like to be a part of the choir.

• Rehearsal Dates: Sundays, August 30 & September 6
  • Children will be dismissed following the Children’s Sermon during the worship service.
• Dress Rehearsal & Performance Date: Sunday, September 13
  • Choir Arrival: Meet at 9 AM in the tent on the front lawn
  • Performance at the 10 AM worship service
