I WANT TO BE AN USHER
Ushering at a worship service is a short-term commitment with a big impact. We invite to take an active role by ushering. Here are some examples of what you can expect to do as an usher:
- welcome parishioners to the service
- assist in finding seating (if necessary)
- answer questions such as “where is the restroom?” or “where can I take my child?”
- help with collecting the offering
That’s all there is to it! If you are new to ushering, you will be contacted about the procedures of a Sunday morning and what you can expect.
