Dominican Republic Mission Team
WELCOME!
We want to share some ways for you to become more familiar with our church family, our campus, and the town and city we call our home. Take a look below and let us know if you have any questions.
All week long our classes and groups meet in-person and online. These consist of Bible studies, mission groups, support groups, and even the Boy and Girl Scouts. The FriendShip Preschool is also a part of SPC and the Samaritan Counseling Center has offices in the Faith House.
The staff at SPC consists of both full-time and part-time employees.

SERVING IN GOD’S MISSION
One of our biggest passions is serving in God’s mission. We have an active mission program that consists of a large variety of opportunities to serve. One event that our church is well-known for is Day on the Lawn (DOL). DOL is a massive rummage sale that we hold every September. It takes place on just one day and brings thousands of shoppers to our campus. The proceeds from the sale go to missions! Here’s a quick peak into DOL:

ABOUT SEWICKLEY & PITTSBURGH
We are located in the beautiful town of Sewickley, PA. Sewickley has its own hospital, a large variety of restaurants and shops, a YMCA, public and private schools, and many other businesses. At all times of year — even in the winter months — you will see many people out walking and enjoying the streets of Sewickley. Our local high school, Quaker Valley, even won the 2017 State Football Competition (check out the story below)!
Not only is Sewickley an attractive place to live, but it’s also located near a major city – Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is a multicultural city that offers many entertainment and educational opportunities. From Broadway shows to art museums, the zoo, sporting events, and over 29 colleges, there is something for everyone.
