FriendShip Preschool Lead Teacher
Job Description: FriendShip Preschool is searching for a loving, creative flexible individual with teaching experience for the Lead Teacher position in our Children’s Corner program. This position involves planning and teaching lessons that are developmentally appropriate for 2 to 3-year-olds; communicating clearly and effectively with parents; assessing each child’s developmental progress throughout the year; working cooperatively with 2 assistant teachers; collaborating with teachers in other classrooms to help create consistency and cohesiveness throughout the program; and most importantly, create a loving classroom environment to ensure a positive first school experience for each child.
Our mission at FriendShip Preschool is to provide our community with a high-quality, Christian, faith-based early childhood program that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children. FriendShip uses play as the primary means to develop skills and growth while fostering discovery, friendships, and enjoyment in the preschool experience.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Prior experience working with preschool-age children and families
- All FriendShip Staff members must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
Hours: 8:30 AM – 12 PM, Monday-Thursday. We operate on a traditional school calendar.
