Description: Our Pre-K program is thoughtfully designed to prepare children for Kindergarten. Using The Letter People curriculum, students build strong literacy skills through engaging characters, music, movement, and creative activities that promote phonological awareness, letter-sound relationships, print knowledge, and oral language. Mathematical concepts including number identification, counting, shape recognition, problem-solving, graphing, and sequencing are taught through interactive, hands-on experiences and learning centers. The Artist of the Month program introduces children to famous artists and allows them to experiment with various artistic techniques, mediums and materials. Field trips within the local area enrich learning and help children connect classroom experiences to their community. Each month, students participate in Chapel with church staff, where they are taught faith-based lessons centered on the Fruit of the Spirit. These traits – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are woven into their preschool experience.
