DONATION DROP OFF DAYS

Working the day of the sale is a lot of fun (believe it or not!). Just as with Donation Drop-Off Days, there is a need for many to help on the day of the sale and the week leading up to it. A schedule and departments are listed below. Sign-up for one that interests you and the department Chair will contact you about the details.

PREP WEEK SCHEDULE & SALE DAY

Monday, September 1

Department Work Day

Even though this is a holiday, departments are welcome to sort through merchandise and start preparing for moving to sale areas.

Tuesday, September 2:

All Hands on Deck: Home Goods & Linens

Time: We’ll start at 3 PM & work until we’re finished (pizza provided!)

Help set-up Home Goods & Linens in the tents they will be using. All ages are invited to help.
- Includes: carrying items outside from the Chapel, placing items on tables, pricing, etc. Items are not heavy and easily carried.
- Strong hands are welcome to help move bigger boxes and to set-up tables.

Wednesday, September 3

Great Furniture Move

Time: 5 PM (pizza provided)

The Great Furniture Move: We’ll provide the pizza and drinks — you provide the muscle!
- We’ll move all of the stored furniture (Faith House Basement, Garage & trailer) to the furniture tents.

Thursday, September 4

Departments Price & Sort Day

Join in with others to help price items, set up and organize various departments.

Friday, September 5

Baked Goods & Deli to the Church Kitchen

- Do you like to cook or bake? We are looking for items to stock our Bakery & Deli. Here are some suggestions:
  - Any type of sweet treats and deli goods such as soups, casseroles, pasta dishes — frozen or fresh!
  - Sugar-free, gluten-free, grab-n-go items
  - Items wrapped in disposable containers with a clear cover, labeled with item names and allergens
  - Cookies packaged either in baggies with 1-3 cookies or as a full dozen
  - Please drop-off homemade baked goods and deli items in the church kitchen on September 5.

DOL Presale | 4:30 – 6:30 PM

If you have helped in ANY way with Day on the Lawn, you are invited to our presale. In order to shop, you will need to wear a presale shopping bracelet. They will be available outside of the Ansby entrance beginning at 4:30 PM on Friday, September 5. Please plan on taking all purchases home with you that evening. In order to keep with our focus on mission, please ask your family and friends to wait until Saturday to do their shopping. Thank you!
