MAY THE 4th BE WITH YOU
Sunday, May 4 | 12 PM Lunch & 12:30 PM Move
May 4th is typically celebrated as “Star Wars” day (in case you didn’t know). But, Sunday, May 4th at SPC will be something different:
May 4th is the final Sunday we’ll be meeting
in the sanctuary until September.
This might not feel like much of a reason to be excited, but it is! It means our Capital Campaign project is starting!
We need your help in order to prepare the sanctuary for the construction work. There are many things that will need to be removed after the 11 AM service such as pew pads, hymnals, some various pieces of furniture and things of that nature.
We have organized a list of items, where those items will need to go to be stored for the summer, and how many people we feel will be required to finish each task. None of the tasks are complicated and with many hands it shouldn’t take very long to finish everything.
Please take a look to see if you are up to the task of helping. If you are, put your name in the spreadsheet below. We will gather in the Robinson Room for a quick lunch (provided for you), and a time of instruction right after the 11 AM service.
