While Christmas is a time of joy for many, it can also be bittersweet for those who are facing this time without a loved one.

During the Light in the Darkness Service in the Chapel on December 16, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM, a personalized ornament may be hung on the Tree of Memories, which offers a way to remember a loved one during the holiday season. The Presbyterian Women’s Association began this lovely tradition in 1999 and the Deacons continue it today.

If you would like to have an ornament made in memory of a loved one for the Tree, order forms for ornaments will be available from November 8 through December 1, and will be located in the Robinson Room, the church office, or order online using the button below.

If you have kept your ornament from past years, you are welcome to hang it on the tree during the Light in the Darkness Service.

Following the service, the Tree of Memories will be moved into the sanctuary to join Trees hung with ornaments left in the churches care, for the remainder of the Advent Season.
