The Ladle is an ecumenical soup kitchen and food pantry housed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Old Economy, serving dinner every Monday evening. SPC has been a supporter of this important local ministry since its inception in 2008, providing financial resources and recruiting church members to prepare and serve dinner on four to five Mondays each year.

A seated meal is served from 5-6 PM and approximately 12-15 volunteers are needed each time. Please contact Hayes and Patricia Stover if you would like to be added to the email list of those willing to prepare and/or serve food on one of SPC’s scheduled serving dates.
